About
Design is my passion, whether I’m serving my clients or pursuing a personal project. I attack publication design and baby shower invitations with equal vigor. Although I am primarily a graphic designer specializing in print work, my background touches all design disciplines.
I earned my BFA in Design from the University of Texas at Austin, moving to DC soon after to work as an in-house designer at a non-profit. I then joined the team at an award-winning agency in Chevy Chase, later leaving full-time employment to raise a family, and have been freelancing consistently ever since. I love the flexibility and variety of work that it affords.
My family and I have lived in the DC area three separate times, with 6- and 3-year stints in Idaho Falls, Idaho, and suburban Paris, France, respectively.
I value getting dirty and working with my hands—whether it’s laying in the grass with my camera to get the perfect shot, spray-painting a chandelier, constructing a book binding, or gardening. I love interior design and can be frequently found choosing paint swatches and painting the walls in my friends’ houses into the current decade.
